A Half Day Employment Law Workshop for Managers and Supervisors


The handling of day to day disciplinary and grievance problems correctly and fairly is paramount for any first line Manager and Supervisor in the climate of today's employment legislation, therefore, it is essential that Line Managers and Supervisors understand what they must and must not do when investigating and carrying out a disciplinary action or managing a grievance to protect the Company against potential claims.


The course covers the legal principles that must be followed together with guidance on disciplinary procedures and tackling difficult situations.


Objective


To provide delegates with an understanding of current Employment Law with particular emphasis on dealing with disciplinary, grievance, and appeals, improving confidence in dealing with difficult situations in the workplace and ensuring that employees are dealt with fairly and within the guidelines of good employment practice and legislation.
