Our support includes:
- Informing the Tribunal Office that The AP Partnership Ltd will be your representative and that all paperwork should in future be sent direct to us.
- Reviewing the claim as detailed in the Claim to an Employment Tribunal, obtaining all the facts of the case from you and preparing a response to that claim.
- Submitting the Response Form on your behalf and where applicable requesting a pre-hearing review or a preliminary hearing.
- Advising on the merits of the case and where appropriate discussing with you any settlement you may wish to make based on our expert opinion.
- Handling all contact with the local ACAS officer assigned to the case and negotiating any settlement that has been agreed with you. Producing the wording of any final agreement that may be made.
- Obtaining further information and documents from the Claimant where appropriate.
- Helping you prepare witness statements for staff who will be required to give evidence at the Tribunal hearing, preparing their witness statements and advising them on what will be expected of them when they give evidence.
- Using our advocacy skills to present the arguments of your case at Tribunal in a professional manner in order to maximise your chance of winning the case.
Given that Employment Tribunals can now award up to £68,400 to employees who have been unfairly dismissed and that there is no financial ceiling for cases involving discrimination, you cannot afford an approach that is less than professional.
