A one day workshop for anyone with responsibility for managing or undertaking work with hazardous substances and is equally appropriate to those with no prior knowledge or those looking to review and improve their current arrangements. Aim This course provides delegates with a detailed understanding of the latest version of the COSHH Regulations and will help them understand when a COSHH Assessment is required and the responsibilities for undertaking the Assessment. Through practical examples and workshop exercises, delegates will be given an explanation of how a COSHH Assessment should be undertaken and will explore with the delegates relevant examples within their own workplaces. The course will discuss options and effectiveness of control measures to eliminate and reduce risks and when and how health surveillance may be required and implemented.
