Agency Workers Regulation - Government Guidance Released

The Government has issued a consultation document on the Agency Workers Regulations which are due to come into force on 1 October 2011.

The regulations will give agency workers the same or no less favourable terms and conditions as normal employees once they complete a qualifying period of twelve weeks in a particular job.

Amongst the areas covered are:

  • Pay
  • Working time
  • Night work
  • Rest periods
  • Holidays
